Pauras Rege is a successful Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in accounting, investment analysis and corporate advisory. He specialises in deals advisory, advising on mergers and acquisitions, divestures, business growth, succession planning, private financing, capital restructuring, debt advisory and management buyouts.

He has a proven track record of facilitating investments and completing successful transactions, both locally and offshore. He also work with global and local network of investors, and business owners to invest in and grow aspirational businesses.

Currently, Pauras is a Director and Co-founder of Tiaki Capital. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and subsequently joined ASB Bank, both in New Zealand. Thereafter, Pauras was a part of Colliers International New Zealand Ltd as an Investment Manager and prior to co-founding Tiaki Capital, he was a Director in the Corporate Business Sales division in ABC Business Sales Ltd.

Beyond his professional work, Pauras is a shareholder and director at a private New Zealand childcare company and holds leadership roles, including Chair of the Auckland Emerging Leaders Committee at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). He is also a member of the Local Committee at CA ANZ and serves on the boards of the Aotearoa NZ Association of Social Workers (ANZASW), Event Finda Stadium (EFS), and New Zealand Asian Leaders (NZAL). Pauras also holds various advisory board positions and he is an active member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), where he serves on the Young Director's Committee, and the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand Inc (INFINZ),

Outside of his professional endeavours, Pauras enjoys cricket, golf, community theatre, traveling, and exploring diverse cuisines. He is also passionate about mentoring university and high school students.
