Steve has more than 30 years of business experience as a Business Owner and Director in the manufacturing, retail, and distribution/logistics sectors including a startup bulk fuel distribution business. He has extensive knowledge of the oil and renewable fuels industry in New Zealand having developed and built NZ’s first commercial biofuels plant and developed Z’s carbon trading capability. His career incorporated logistics, retail, commercial sales, and M&A projects in senior management roles with Shell Oil NZ and Z Energy spanning 14 years.

Steve has sound financial skills, is a strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal and people skills, and is an experienced negotiator, facilitator, and coach. As a successful business operator and entrepreneur, he has a reputation for getting things done and simplifying the complex, he specialises in exit planning and strategy, building high-performance teams, and M&A projects.
